- Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or clinical-based program.
- Anatomy and Physiology, sterile technique, medical terminology, instrumentation, and medical equipment knowledge.
- Clinical Competencies; Sterilization techniques; Operating Room instruments and supplies; medical terminology.
- Six (6) months of experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery unit
- CPR Certified
- Certified OR Tech
- 1 year OR experience
- CORT or CST

ResponsibilitiesAssists surgeons with surgical procedures within the operating room under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to include conveying sterile instruments and supplies used in basic to complex surgical procedures. Adheres to policies and procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
