      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct systematic reviews of medical records to extract relevant statistical and medical information on infants and mothers
      - Interpret complex medical information and assign appropriate codes for diagnoses using ICD9CM and ICD10CM
      - Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and hospitals to facilitate data collection activities
      - Manage data collection processes and maintain accurate electronic records
      - Work independently with minimal supervision to meet job requirements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in education, business, sociology, economics, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution and six months of directly related experience; or
      - High School diploma or GED with four and a half years of experience in collecting, interpreting, and reporting statistical or social data; or
      - An equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Experience in reviewing medical records and using medical terminology
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated knowledge of medical records organization and management principles
      - Experience communicating effectively with medical professionals and administrative personnel
      - Familiarity with coding and classification systems, specifically ICD9CM and ICD10CM
