- Bachelor's degree in Survey (Land or Hydrography), Marine Science, Geomatics, Oceanography, or a related discipline
- Exposed to Cartography and Geodesy
- Proven experience 4 years in conducting marine surveys within the EPCI industry, with expertise in topographic and hydrographic survey techniques and equipment
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines, such as International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) standards, Marine Spatial Planning (MSP), and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices
- Proficiency in utilizing survey equipment, software, and data processing tools, including GPS, multibeam and single beam echo sounders, navigation systems, survey adjustment software, and GIS
- Familiar with geophysical surveys, survey sensors, sonars, and magnetometers
- Familiar with Mapping software like AutoCAD, Global Mapper, GIS, and bathymetric software
- Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills, with the ability to visualize, present, and communicate survey findings effectively to diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented approach, with a focus on accuracy and quality deliverables while working within project constraints and deadlines
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities, with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and external agencies
- Ability to work in challenging onshore and offshore environments, adhere to safety protocols, and prioritize the protection of marine ecosystems and biodiversity
- Conduct land/marine surveys and inspections by industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to aid with the planning and execution of land/marine surveys and data acquisition activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion
- Utilize various survey equipment, software, and technologies to collect and analyze marine data, including positioning, bathymetric surveys, and awareness of sub-bottom profiling and side-scan sonar imaging
- Assist with management and preparation of accurate survey reports, charts, and maps, highlighting findings, recommendations, and potential risks
- Support the identification and evaluation of potential marine hazards, such as underwater obstacles, geological formations, and uncharted navigational hazards
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and accuracy
- Monitor and assess environmental impacts caused by marine construction activities, recommending appropriate mitigation measures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during survey operations
- To be based at worksite based on project requirements, onshore and/or offshore
