What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide waste program coordination support across client portfolios in alignment with landfill diversion targets and KPIs
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to implement waste initiatives that meet or exceed expectations
- Develop and lead multiple waste initiatives adhering to project timelines and budgets
- Conduct forensic waste audits and identify opportunities for landfill diversion
- Draft comprehensive waste-related reports, trainings, and policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree demonstrating subject matter expertise in sustainability or environmental engineering
- Minimum of five years’ experience in sustainable operations or engineering of commercial buildings
- Demonstrated project management experience specific to zero waste certifications
- Strong operations experience in a large multi-dimensional organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- LEED accreditation and TRUE Zero Waste Advisor accreditation strongly preferred
- Familiarity with waste sustainability certification and benchmarking tools
- Experience working with corporate clients and property managers
- Excellent relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams
- Ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
