      Job Description

      The position will own the Change Management for U.S. Bank’s Technology Transformation. We are seeking a senior leader who has brilliant track record in Organizational Change Management [OCM], broad-based technology skills, strategic vision and innovation mind-set to shape the key areas of the bank (Payments, Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management). This position will report to the Head of Cloud Enablement.

      This leader will influence and support our CIOs/CTOs and peers who will work alongside this role. This leader will maximize stakeholder adoption and minimize resistance by assessing change readiness and designing a strategy and executing corresponding plans. The ideal candidate must be someone who Business Line partners are eager to engage with and has a strong hands-on approach.

      A successful executive will envision and drive the target state for key functions of the Bank, build roadmaps to get there, and influence peers-partners to execute to those roadmaps by being a coach and a mentor. This leader will be responsible for organizational alignment (including Communications and Engagement).

      The ideal candidate will possess Change Management skills in addition to technical know-how in cloud computing, modern software deployment, software architecture, info security, and financial services systems' related compliance initiatives as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization.


      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Lead Change Management Strategy development of large-scale, enterprise-wide transformational initiatives, owning overall accountability for the Change Management for successful program(s) from design to delivery
      • Assess and oversee comprehensive change management plans for initiatives
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess impact of proposed changes on employees, processes, and systems.
      • Conduct thorough stakeholder analyses and corresponding stakeholder management activities
      • Shape the Communications strategy and own the Communications plan for the Technology Transformation team while dealing with variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders..
      • Coach and mentor leaders, managers and employees on best practices for navigating change.
      • Measure effectiveness of change initiatives and make data-driven adjustments. Drive execution accountability to produce measurable, optimized business outcomes.
      • Develop trusted relationships with executives, senior leaders, and key business partners
      • Create transparency by synthesizing information and designing communications, analysis, and recommendations for executives and senior leaders
      • Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports, ensuring skill development to meet current and future execution needs enterprise-wide
      • Act as a trusted strategic advisor, work alongside business leaders to help determine which initiatives should be undertaken - why and when, not just how.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
      • 12-15 years progressive experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide transformative initiatives, preferably with leading financial services providers or consulting firms

      Preferred Skills/Experience:

      • 15+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide transformative initiatives, preferably with leading financial services providers or consulting firms (e.g., Big Four, top-tier management)
      • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
      • Experience working with developer communities and development leaders (technical managers)
      • Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM)
      • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and listening)
      • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive strategies and build relationships
      • Ability to design feedback loops and then synthesize data from the feedback loops into actionable strategies and tell the story and communicate to stakeholders at all levels

      The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $165,325.00 - $194,500.00 - $213,950.00
