What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement a comprehensive deposit growth strategy across various segments
- Identify market opportunities and lead initiatives to improve deposit retention and acquisition
- Recruit, develop, and manage a team of bankers focused on deposit acquisition and relationship management
- Oversee the design and enhancement of deposit products, pricing strategies, and bundling options
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to deposit growth and customer acquisition
What is Required (Qualifications):
- HS diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of financial services sales experience, with a strong focus on Corporate Banking deposit growth
- Minimum of 5 years of banking experience in the Specialty Deposits industry
- Proven track record in building, managing, and mentoring teams within a banking environment
- Deep understanding of banking regulations, deposit products, and client behavior
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience building and scaling a team of Relationship Managers in the Specialty Deposits area
- Familiarity with treasury management solutions
- Collaborative mindset with a desire to build strong internal and external partnerships
- Experience with deposit pricing strategies and liquidity management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
