What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform site visits and develop action plans to report to the Key Leadership Team
- Create and implement training plans focused on business office best practices and process improvement
- Oversee daily business office functions, including staffing needs and financial performance
- Provide regular updates on facility activities and metrics to the Key Leadership Team
- Identify and appoint a Business Office employee to lead in the absence of the Business Office Manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory, managerial, or administrative position in a medical setting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with Oracle, ADP, and Kronos is helpful
- Excellent knowledge of healthcare billing procedures, regulations, and payment cycles
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional education may be substituted for two years of fiscal management experience
- Experience in a surgical center or hospital environment
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and critical thinking in decision making
