Job Description

- System maintenance of laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, printers, AV equipment, MS Azure, MS365, updates and patches
- Provision hardware, including requisitions, configurations, and installations on laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, printers, AV equipment and peripherals.
- Maintain software licensing for productivity applications, including M365, Adobe, etc.
- Maintain software licensing for system admin applications, including N-Able, etc.
- Manage user and group accounts, including provisioning, deprovisioning, maintenance, and backups.
- Provide user support for endpoint issues, account issues, software issues, etc.
- Manage company email system (MS Exchange), including creation and management of email services, email accounts, and mailboxes.
- Support physical access measures, including door card creation, hardware and software systems maintenance and support.
- Create and update documentation to support endpoint services, such as system configurations, procedures, policies, workflows, and playbooks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of (5) five years’ experience as a desktop support or system administrator or engineer.
- Demonstrated experience in system administration, system design and planning, office planning, remote administration of desktops, laptops or servers, and/or building and supporting remote and distributed workforce.
- Ability to travel up to 25%. This position is mostly remote and work-from-home, but will require travel to the Houston office regularly and periodic travel to US sites.
- Ability to work in fast-paced start-up environment, including willingness to lend a hand in non-job-related tasks if needed.
- Ability to support emergency outages on evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work with a team, take general directions from several sources, focus attention on details, and complete projects.
- Ability to organize, schedule, and prioritize departmental and individual work to meet various schedules and objectives.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated issues/problems.
Install, maintain, secure, evaluate, and prepare endpoint systems, including PCs, Macs, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, AV equipment, and peripherals. Install, maintain, secure, evaluate, and prepare servers. Deploy, manage, and evaluate desktop and cloud applications, including M365 and other productivity applications. Build out office and workspace plans, as needed. Troubleshoot productivity issues and monitor productivity application performance and needs.
