What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and support the revenue cycle system, ensuring accuracy of billing records
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members on system requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with client services, customer care, sales, and revenue cycle initiatives
- Generate and audit weekly and monthly utilization reports for specific agencies
- Maintain administration of users in secure provider web-portals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree in healthcare, medical billing, or related field
- At least 3 years of work-related experience in healthcare, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle
- Previous experience with prior authorization processes involving payers and providers
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, medical billing, or related field
- Experience with eligibility inquiry software and electronic claim submissions
- AAHAM or HFMA certification
- Familiarity with electronic remittances, clearinghouse, and accounts receivable software
