  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Conduct research in the design, development, testing, and utilization of electronic data processing software
  - Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software and systems with logical and mathematical solutions
  - Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in planning and development of electronic data processing systems
  - Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems and prepare operating instructions
  - Ensure software standards are met and analyze user needs to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 2 - 4 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience
  - Experience with technical standards, principles, and theories
  - Ability to work under general supervision and provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity
  - Active Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship necessary for consideration
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Familiarity with software design and development processes
  - Experience in coordinating software system installations and monitoring equipment functionality
  - Knowledge of compilers, assemblers, and utility programs
  - Strong analytical skills for predicting and measuring design outcomes
  - Previous experience working with government clients or in a similar sector
