- Manage the Talent Acquisition front desk and conduct I-9 verifications
- Respond to requests for information and service regarding a variety of human resource-related activities such as job application, application status, pre-hire tasks and general public questions
- Conduct daily I-9 compliance reporting for the Talent Acquisition Operations team
- Assist employees and managers with Workday navigation and provide guidance in completing hiring and onboarding tasks
- Provide direct support to the Director of Talent Acquisition through event coordination, keeping meeting minutes, and maintaining shared files
- Utilize Microsoft Office products (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) to create and organize presentations, reports, documents and communicate via email with city employees and external customers
- Use a team-focused mindset to assist in providing excellent service within all aspects of HR
- Excellent customer service with discreet situations, warm welcoming demeanor, positive attitude, and flexibility to assist all areas of Talent Acquisition
- Experience with I-9 verifications and compliance
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Ability to stay motivated, work independently, and be a self-starter
- Solid attention to detail with the ability to prioritize work and manage time efficiently
- Experience with updating policy and procedure manuals
- Desire to learn and grow within human resources and has a passion for public service
- Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
- Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of experience in an administrative environment.
- Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.

What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hour. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which includes but is not limited to:
Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work in-person 2-3 days a week in our primary office or at an off-site event. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.
