Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and priorities.
Provide valuable insight and advice to hiring teams regarding candidate selection and recruitment best practices.
Lead the full cycle recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Post jobs, screen resumes, conduct screening calls, and participate in interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, etc.
Attend networking events, job fairs, and other recruitment-related activities to promote the organization as an employer of choice.
Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure recruitment practices comply with legal requirements.
Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration
2 years experience in Human Resources ideally in Talent.
Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment methods.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software (ie: Workday).
Language Requirements – Bilingual preferred (English and French)
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently, but as a part of an extended national team.
Excellent communicator.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion.
This hybrid position is based at the Ottawa Head Office or one of our regional Area Control Centres in Gander, Moncton, Montreal (Dorval), Toronto (Mississauga), Winnipeg, Edmonton (Leduc) or Vancouver (Surrey) and the successful candidate will be required to travel as required for job fair and networking events.
