      Job Specifications:

      The Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager will strategically lead the recruitment and retention efforts with the goal of increasing teacher and leader effectiveness to ultimately increase students learning.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Develop and execute a successful teacher and leader recruitment and retention strategic plan.
      • In partnership with UCP Marketing team, develops recruitment marketing strategies, utilizing innovative programs such as targeted advertising, employment open houses, career fairs, direct mail (and email) campaigns and social media platforms leveraging UCP website and social media to promote UCP Charter Schools as an employer of choice.
      • Utilize Paycom/other data and metrics to drive continuous quality improvement in the recruitment and hiring processes to increase efficiency and timeliness in recruiting for and filling vacancies.
      • Participate, engage and directly recruit at career fairs, hiring events, and workshops targeted at UCP Charter School job opportunities.
      • Establishes partnerships with schools and universities to identify top talent and maintain recruitment pipeline for current and anticipated job opportunities.
      • Performs direct searches/screening for hard to fill vacancies targeting passive job seekers utilizing cold call data bases, associations, and professional networking sites such as LinkedIn.
      • In partnership with the Professional Learning Specialist and On-Boarding coordinator, develop a robust and comprehensive onboarding, orientation and on-going professional learning for teachers and leaders.
      • Conducts off-boarding and exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations and report turnover and trends to Project Team
      • Oversees the development and implementation of Project KEY (a gamification system of retention)

      Qualifications


      Education and Training: (or equivalent)

      • Masters In Human Resources (preferred) or related field. Job experience can substitute for education credentials.

      Minimum Experience (Required)

      • 5 years experience successfully developing and implementing effective recruitment and retention strategies.
      • Prefer experience in a school setting.
      • Experience using data to drive changes.
      • Strong written and verbal communication.
      • Experience developing and maintaining community partnerships.
