      The City and County of Denver utilizes a hybrid model workplace that balances the responsibilities of public service with the benefits of a flexible work environment. Employees work where needed, at a city site and/or in the field 3-5 days a week and telecommute remotely at a designated workplace within the State of Colorado the remaining days.

      The Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides essential services and support to over 13,000+ employees in a vast array of diverse positions that make up 40 agencies. The Talent Acquisition team fills over 4,000 positions each year. We are looking for someone to jump into our dynamic workplace who brings a passion for connecting people with opportunities. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team in various agencies. This position will ensure a high-quality pre-hire experience, and assist with guiding managers and candidates through the recruitment and hiring process.

      The Office of Human Resources (OHR) is seeking strategic, customer-service focused Talent Acquisition Operations Coordinator to join our team. The opportunity available will be primarily supporting Denver Human Services (DHS).

      The Talent Acquisition Operations Coordinator is essential to meeting the city's demand to hire top talent quickly. In a day, you could be sending candidates offer letters, conducting background checks, scheduling interviews, or reviewing applications. This role handles high volume administrative work on a daily basis and supports candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers alike. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an innovative and growing team, focusing on creating the best experience for our candidates and hiring managers.

      Job responsibilities include:

      • Creating offer letters, facilitating background checks, tracking hires in various stages of the pre-hire process

      • Interacting directly with candidates, employees, and leadership within all levels of the city

      • Maintaining standards of work documents for your specific client groups

      • Utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (Workday) and other tools such as Microsoft Office or online vendor portals for tracking pre-hire processes and gathering data

      • Assisting with the dispositioning of candidates

      • Scheduling, documenting, and coordinating phone screens or interviews

      • Helping with or participating in career fairs or hiring events

      • Providing excellent customer service to candidates, clients, and colleagues to ensure that all hires feel welcomed, prepared, and inspired for their new career

      About You

      Our ideal candidate will have:

      • Experience successfully working on projects and tasks requiring a high level of attention to detail such as data analysis, creating and interpreting graphs and pivot tables (along with other entry-level Excel skills), and strong organizational and time management skills

      • Experience processing pre-hires in large organizations

      • Ability to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing and collaborative environment

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

      • Workday experience

      • Initiative to find solutions and think critically to solve problems

      • Experience resolving time-sensitive and confidential customer issues

      • Experience working with third-party background check or medical screening vendors

      • Experience with processing CDL licensure checks
