      T he Talent Development Specialist plays a key role in designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that support the growth and development of the Beneverse. Rooted in our Benefit DNA, pledges, values, culture, and business strategy, this role supports the full learning lifecycle—from needs analysis to program design, facilitation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring curiosity, creativity, and expertise to help shape scalable learning solutions that elevate capability, engagement, and performance across the organization.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Design and deliver engaging training programs and development initiatives that align with our pledges, values, and business objectives.
      • Facilitate impactful learning experiences (live, virtual, and self-paced), including workshops and coaching sessions, ensuring seamless, enriching participation.
      • Build scalable and inclusive development programs for individuals, teams, and leaders at all levels.
      • Develop informative and inspiring training materials, toolkits, and microlearning resources that reflect Benefit’s unique DNA & expertise.
      • Leverage adult learning principles, behavioral science, and instructional design best practices in all aspects of program development and delivery.
      • Support or lead key programs such as onboarding, leadership development, mentoring, coaching, career pathing, and talent reviews.
      • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and enablement platforms to deploy, track, and analyze learning experiences.
      • Monitor participation and evaluate program impact using feedback, engagement, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
      • Coordinate and manage learning events, including communication, pre-work, logistics (e.g., room setup, A/V, catering), and accessibility needs.
      • Liaise with third-party vendors and facilitators to deliver training, track utilization, and maintain strong external partnerships.
      • Maintain and manage the learning and development annual calendar to ensure timely execution of programs and initiatives.

      Qualifications:

      • A genuine passion for helping others learn and grow.
      • Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering talent development programs.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Customer obsessed, considering the EX (employee experience) in all programming & resources we develop and share.
      • Data driven with a tech first mindset. Able to analyze & interpret data to find & share insights around learning solution impact & trends.
      • 3+ years of experience in L&D, talent development, or organizational development.
      • Strong facilitation and instructional design skills.
      • Familiarity with adult learning theory, leadership development, and performance enablement.
      • Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
      • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
      • Experience supporting global or distributed teams.
      • Knowledge of DEI-focused learning design.
      • Familiarity with 70-20-10 development frameworks, OKRs, or performance management cycles.
      • Background in coaching, psychology, or HR is a plus.

      Schedule:

      • Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly
      • Reports to our Global HQ in San Francisco, CA

      The target salary range for this position in California is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
