- Responsible for the recruiting South Carolina Federal employees to include, but is not limited to posting and advertising open positions, processing and screening applications, ensuring minimum qualifications are met, conducting interviews, administering pre-employment evaluations, providing recommendations to hiring manager, preparing necessary documentation, and notifying candidates of hiring decisions.
- Support recruiting efforts by identifying talent through proactive sourcing techniques across multiple social media sites and search engines.
- Responsible for effectively utilizing the company Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as well as various talent screening and evaluation systems.
- Coordinate and professionally represent South Carolina Federal at external job fairs and community events.
- Assists with the coordination and delivery of Talent Acquisition activities for New Employee Orientation and New Management Orientation.
- Support various Human Resource efforts to include, but not limited to coordinating and participating in career services, diversity and inclusion, and employee branding activities as needed
- Assist with keeping recruitment policies and procedures current.
- Maintain industry knowledge of current trends and best practices, as well as research and propose new ideas when appropriate.
- Promote and adhere to rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines pertaining to duties and responsibilities of respective area(s).
- Actively participate in training activities, coaching sessions, and meetings.
- Support and promote teamwork among all areas of the credit union.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Possess an associateu2019s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Possess a minimum of two years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience.
- Possess a minimum of one year of experience sourcing candidates via various job boards and career sites.
- Possess working knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws.
- Possess previous experience coordinating and working job fairs.
- Possess previous experience working with an applicant tracking system. Preferably Jobvite.
- Possess high standards of professionalism in appearance and conduct.
- Possess ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
- Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess intermediate mathematical skills to perform calculations involving decimals and percentages.
