      Job Summary

      Coordinates and supports all staffing related activities associated with hiring candidates for CSX from when a need is identified until the need has been filled. As a Talent Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring a great candidate experience from problem solving technical issues, providing logistical support, to facilitating the sourcing and selection of candidates.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High School diploma/GED from an accredited institution required
      • 1 or more years of experience in a Staffing Environment

      Preferred Qualifications

      In addition to meeting the above qualifications, any of the following are preferred:

      • Associates degree from an accredited institution
      • 1 or more years’ experience in the Railroad Industry

      Knowledge and Skills:

      • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and excellent follow – through in a fast-paced and ever–changing environment
      • Knowledge of FCRA regulations, DOL & OFCCP regulations and other Human Resource compliance related issues.
      • Knowledge of core staffing processes
      • Must have ambition and be a self-motivator

      • Written and oral communication skills
      • Microsoft Office skills
      • Creating and facilitating presentations
      • Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud or other applicant tracking system knowledge

      Responsibilities

      Primary Activities and Responsibilities:

      • Screen applications. Build and manage relationships with candidates, internal team members, business partners and vendors.
      • Ensure all hiring/onboarding processes are complete and in compliance with company and Federal regulations.
      • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondences.
      • Initiate and process all new hires, maintain files, create and interpret reports, and other pertinent human resource records.
      • Sourcing candidates and conducting preliminary phone screens or completing virtual interview evaluations.
      • Collaboratively work with the Talent Advisors to meet hiring projections
      • Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
