      Job Description

      Working in Card Authorizations Application Support means you will use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. In this role, you will oversee application deployments, application issues, including troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating and resolving. You will ensure that the production changes are made keeping best practices, lifecycle methodology and overall risk top of mind. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise, you will also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines.       Responsibilities

      • Oversee and execute the delivery of Tandem Authorizations applications changes; including root cause analysis, troubleshooting, maintaining, escalations and resolutions.
      • Document, track, and research Tandem Authorizations technology reported issues.
      • Research and resolve issues escalated from various areas such as internal alerts, Help Desks, Management, Support Groups and other departments.
      • Provide accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue.
      • Provide activity, progress and status reports to management and keeps management posted of any critical issues.
      • Weekend support requirement and will involve support on Sat / Sun as part of shift-based coverage.
      • Ensure that production changes are aligned to best practices, lifecycle methodology and sound risk management.

      Qualifications and Experience

      • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
      • Minimum 4 years of Application Support experience
      • Hands-on experience working on TANDEM or HPE NonStop platform (e.g., Guardian and OSS environment)
      • Experience with Monitoring Tools such as Splunk, Netcool, Control M, Dynatrace, Prognosis
      • Working knowledge in one or more programming languages (COBOL, C++, TAL, TACL)
      • Experience in internet protocol and behaviors preferred.
      • Experience in a large-scale, high availability, fast paced, distributed environment.
      • Experience with Tandem batch processing, including submitting jobs and validating data.
      • Analytical mindset to drive identification of patterns/trends which would predict problematic situations.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goal.
      • Effective communication skills (verbal and written), with prior experience leading large conference calls.
      • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and thrive in fast dynamic environment.
