What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests at the front of the store
- Promote physical security culture by assessing and maintaining safe standards throughout the store
- Respond to and accurately document security incidents in a timely manner
- Utilize de-escalation tactics when addressing security incidents
- Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and provide theft apprehension support as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
- Effective communication skills and ability to operate technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a security or retail environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in fast-paced situations
- Prior experience with crisis response or crowd management strategies
- Familiarity with video surveillance systems
