      Job Title: Operations Manager – TAS Operations

      Corporate Title: Vice President

      Location: Jacksonville

      Overview

      The Operations Manager is responsible for the operational processing and day-to-day oversight and development of several functional teams within the Trust and Agency Services (TAS) Operations group. You will oversee agent side corporate actions on behalf of debt issuer clients, monitor transfer agent book-entry position updates at the Depository Trust Company (DTC) and produce regulatory reports.

      What You’ll Do

      • Provide direction and oversight to functional teams to create and foster an environment of continuous improvement

      • Apply strategies and objectives across product and business lines while keeping systems and processes aligned with internal policies and external regulations

      • Ensure the escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks and be responsible for directing the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions

      • Inform product / function development to ensure a superior offering in the face of changing client needs and market trends, acting in a Subject Matter Expert (SME) capacity

      How You’ll Lead

      • Build and manage relationships with the Trust and Agency Services (TAS) deal managers, TAS Operations team managers, and colleagues across other functions within the bank

      • Act as a mentor and role model for new employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration in their new environment

      Skills You’ll Need

      • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)

      • Extensive experience in a banking or financial services processing environment

      • Expert-level analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving

      • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal)

      • Excellent team leader, able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization

      Skills That Will Help You Excel

      • Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills, well-developed oral and written skills

      • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work, demonstrating flexibility when handling multiple tasks and timely decision making

      • Experience in Corporate Trust operations, custody security settlement and processing using Depository Trust Company (DTC) systems

      • Strong data analysis skills including apps such as Excel, Microsoft Power Platform, Alteryx or Pentaho

      • As part of the management team the Operations Manager will quickly work to develop detailed business knowledge of the various teams and processes with TAS Operations to provide coverage of supervision

      Expectations

      It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model

      The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $93,000 to $133,300. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
