  As a Task Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our Originations Team, responsible for completing loan structures, preparing for underwriting reviews, inputting data, and resolving documentation via workflow-based tasks. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development within our company.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Using a workflow-based proprietary system, complete title tasks and other assigned tasks using step-by-step desktop procedures.
  • Retrieve, review, and upload necessary documents to multiple systems.
  • Validate and rectify details on loan files; attention to detail is critical.
  • Enter data into loan origination system and workflow-based proprietary system to complete tasks.
  • Escalate title issue to Processor using clear communication protocols.
  • Perform quality review tasks for peers to ensure above-average quality completion per established metrics.

  Qualifications:

  • More than one year of professional experience; Mortgage, banking, or financial experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of agency and government loan programs and guidelines are a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills required, including proficiency with originations systems and Microsoft Office products. Encompass experience is a plus.
  • Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule with the possibility of overtime and weekend rotations.
  • Must live within a 60 mile radius of office location in Lewisville, TX, or Lake Forest, CA, or Longview, TX
  • Must have achieved a High School diploma/GED
