What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and review US federal and state partnership income tax returns for Clean Energy operations
- Support quarterly reporting to investors, ensuring compliance with ASC740
- Conduct technical research and quantitative analysis for tax planning projects
- Assist in the forecasting and annual budgeting process related to clean energy grants and incentives
- Participate in transaction review processes, including financial model analysis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience in partnership tax with a national accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax; Master’s degree / CPA is a plus
- Strong desire to learn complex tax technical concepts with a business-first mindset
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven self and project management skills, able to adapt to changing priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with maintaining partner tax capital accounts and taxable income adjustments such as section 704(c) and section 743
- Interest in supporting M&A and renewable investment transactions
- Knowledge of state tax exposure is a plus
