      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct taxability research and analysis related to the employer’s operations, particularly focusing on indirect tax impacts
      - Ensure accuracy of sales tax and fees collected on sales to guests and purchases made by the employer
      - Research state and local laws to determine item taxability and identify changes to tax codes
      - Create documentation to support the employer’s tax positions and assist in audit and compliance matters
      - Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather data and verify research

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MST or JD is a plus
      - Minimum of 2 years of Indirect Tax experience at a public accounting firm or in a large corporate environment
      - Strong analytical and communication skills
      - Ability to think critically and identify data patterns to suggest corrective action
      - Experience with CCH, RIA, and/or Avalara

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Retail experience preferred
      - Experience using data and analytical tools including Excel, Alteryx, and data visualization tools
      - Familiarity with Vertex and SAP, or similar tax software and general ledger systems
