He / She carries out the teaching activities required by the teaching assignment (lessons, exams, workshops, seminars) ensuring compliance with the quality standards set by Istituto Marangoni.
He / She plans and carries out educational activities with a clear and appropriate approach for students following the SOW (scheme of work) of the programs in order to allow the achievement of the established educational objectives.
He / She constantly collaborates with the area Program Leader in order to improve the students' learning experience.
He / She collaborates with the entire Faculty in order to create a dynamic and scientifically cutting-edge environment.
He / She plans teaching activities in the classroom or laboratory in such a way as to encourage the success of the students' educational path.
He / She monitors any critical situations and reports them to the area Program Leader.
Fashion curator with background in the history of fashion and/or exhibition creation. Creative, inspiring and forward-thinking. Able to understand the latest trends and innovations in fashion exhibitions, guiding students into the history and future of fashion curation, as well as supporting the student's individual and collective projects commissioned by clients. - at least 5 years of experience in Fashion Curating, contemporary museology or in the management of luxury brand archives. Particular focus on: editorial production, experience in the fashion sector, theoretical knowledge in fashion history, post-colonial studies, gender studies, sustainability, ability to display ephemeral and archival garments, presentation and writing skills.
Experience as a teacher in other contexts is a plus;
Fluency in English.
In coordination with the Program Leader of the area Arts , the teacher ensures the preparation, delivery of lessons and all teaching activities relating to the course of Fashion Curating, guaranteeing the quality standards expected by Istituto Marangoni.
He / She supports students in achieving their educational objectives, reporting any critical issues in the students' learning or educational path to the area Program Leader.
He / She is responsible for the development of the teaching material relating to the course of Fashion Curating a requested by Program Leader and Istituto Marangoni.Key purpose of the role
