The role:

Join our dynamic Payments and Security team and lead a talented group of developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features to our customers. This role involves close collaboration with the Product team, active participation in agile rituals, and ownership of the entire release process for our microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers to groom user stories and manage sprint deliverables.
• Oversee design, implementation, code reviews, and maintenance of backend services.
• Triage issues identified by the Support team and manage appropriate escalations.
• Own the end-to-end release process of microservices.
• Facilitate and actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for your team.

• Proven leadership and project management experience in fast-paced software development environments.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Microservices architecture (required); familiarity with AWS is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Strong people management and team-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Technical background with the ability to guide and support development work effectively.
