Job summary
An exciting opportunity in Sefton Sexual Health. We are looking for a motivated and innovative band 7 nurses with extensive experience in Sexual Health to lead our team in Southport
As a service we deliver an integrated GU / contraception model of delivery, over 2 hubs and 2 spokes around Sefton.
You would be expected to join our team of senior staff to support all grades of staff as they develop the necessary skills and experience to deliver high quality care.
Main duties of the job
You will have good leadership skills and a proven track record for delivering excellent patient focused care in contraception and GUM some experience of HIV care would also be beneficial.
You will be expected to undertake integrated clinics offering assessment, and providing treatments or contraception including implants and coils to those who need them.
As part of this role you will be line managing our sexual health nursing team and be involved in delivering support and training for junior staff within the specialty. You will lead the delivery of Level 3 GUM and contraception nursing services in a hub and a spoke in the borough.
