      Youth & Family Team, Hamilton County

      Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

      Position Summary

      This position will utilize a strengths-based, recovery-focused approach in a high performing, professional manner to assist Youth and Families, with behavioral health and/or child welfare related services in the

      community and home, and school based settings in order to achieve their identified recovery goals, and to provide coaching, training, and guidance for CC/LSI’s to work with Youth and families in a home, community, or school based setting.

      ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work in any service area or tasks, as assigned by manager
      • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to staff especially related to policies, Medicaid programs, DCS, and community resources
      • Provide training with staff in the community to address client engagement, identifying client needs/strengths, and addressing treatment goals
      • Foster collaboration with and among team members to work towards client and agency goals
      • Provide coverage for team members, as needed
      • Actively and intentionally foster positive team morale
      • Assist manager toward achieving agency goals to grow programs and staff
      • Assist clients referred to the team for services, staff referrals with treatment team, and maintain communication with the referral source, as assigned
      • Maintain understanding and assist team in implementation of agency approved Evidence Based Practices
      • Provide guidance and support when DMS are not available

      Education/Experience/Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a directly-related human service field from an accredited university required
      • Two (2) years of previous experience in a mental health/behavioral health/recovery setting/DCS is required
      • Team Lead or Supervisor experience in a medical or behavioral health setting preferred
      • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
      • Must have reliable transportation to transport self/others and to attend trainings and/or meetings
      • Display a positive work ethic
      • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and/or families
