Job Description
- Req#: 595042
- Provides services to patients and visitors at a reception desk.
- Provides directions, answers patient information calls, and provides general customer service to all customers.
- Provides support to supervisor with scheduling, Kronos timekeeping, ordering of supplies, and supervisory duties in absence of the department's supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
- Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
- Monday-Friday.
- Full time 40 hours per week.
- The location is the Cleveland Medical Center.
- This will be the evening shift.
- Coordinator, lead or supervisor.
- The hours are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
- High School Equivalent / GED.
- 5+ years related experience in a customer service position.
- 2+ years experience in a Hospital/Medical setting.
- 30 wpm typing speed.
- Prior computer experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with hospital codes.
- Must become First Aid Certified.
