- Supervises/coaches and mentors a team of Talent Acquisition Partners with their day-to-day operations.
- Partners with a diverse group of business leaders, management, and employees, to ensure the talent acquisition teams are providing guidance and resources to meet recruiting needs.
- Monitors, evaluates, and coaches performance based on observation and metrics; conducts mid-year and annual performance reviews.
- Oversees recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt openings; reviews applications/resumes; assist managers with screening applicants; ensures all hiring processes adhere to any legal guidelines and HR policies.
- Maintains a list of open requisitions and book of business, will actively recruit on this book of business.
- Initiates and drive special projects/events to elevate the recruiting process and implement creative methods to find top-tier candidates.
- Trains and develop new staff on sourcing, interviewing and company practices.
- Understands and report on industry trends and how they affect talent acquisition.
- Workforce Planning – Will be responsible to effectively execute the planning of current and future workforce needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum 3 years’ human resources work experience including recruiting is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner or Recruiter.
- Ability to think outside the box and help recruiters creatively solve recruitment setbacks.
- Ability to properly prepare and execute on projects and events.
- Positivity and Enthusiasm for Recruitment and leading a team.
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.
- Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Initial Screen by Recruiter for 45 minutes
- Interview with Hiring Manager for 1 hour
- Interview with Leadership for 1 hour
- Follow up within 48/72 hours of last interview providing update on status of interview(s).

Grand Canyon Education's Human Resources department is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Supervisor. The Talent Acquisition Supervisor oversees the actions and work of the Talent Acquisition Partners in recruiting efforts to support the Online Operations teams.
