      Collins Aerospace Systems, part of Raytheon Technologies, is on the lookout for a Team leader to join the team in Banbury.

      In this role you will:

      • Operate to leadership standard work

      • Ensure your team are working safely and are compliant to the site EHS policy

      • Meet the required operational business targets working to TAKT times to satisfy customer requirements

      • Ensure TPM and 5S activity is carried out

      • Control Inventory and line side consumables

      • Lead Tiered meetings, follow the escalation process and support Real Time Problem Resolution initiatives

      • Manage absence and conduct absence reviews

      • Be trained to cover operations in times of absence or urgent customer requirements

      • Operate on a 2-shift pattern

      Other ongoing responsibilities will be:

      • Compile and review metrics daily

      • Record QCPC turnback data, Pareto, and support improvement activity

      • Attend daily reviews and deputise for your Production Manager where required

      • Plan team member development and maintain versatility matrix.

      • Track Kaizen activity and support team members to implement.

      • Support Values Stream / EH&S Manager with accident/near miss investigation

      You will bring to the role:

      • Experience of working in assembly operations

      • Clear demonstration of management and leadership skills

      • Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement

      • Strong organizational skills

      • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver production and quality targets

      • Comfortable working under pressure with a can-do attitude

      • Effective and clear communication to key stakeholders

      • IT skills, use of the Excel, Word and Powerpoint
