      Qualifications


      POSITION SUMMARY

      This working Team Lead position will support Goodwill Industries of San Antonio in monitoring and ensuring efficient flow of activities involved in pricing, preparing, listing and shipping of goods sold on the internet through different listing platforms to achieve sales goals. Assist in performance of routine day-to-day supervisory tasks. May participate in scheduling, planning, reporting, and training.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      1. Provide hands-on assistance with all activities involved in researching value and grading merchandise; photographing merchandise and posting on-line; providing customer service; monitoring auctions and processing sales; and preparing merchandise for shipping.
      2. Continuously monitor processes to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Ensure First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures are followed.
      3. Assist supervisor with team member scheduling.
      4. Accurately track critical metrics including financial, supply inventory, quality issues, and compliance.
      5. Perform Quality Assurance checks on merchandise listings and pre-shipment preparations and report to supervisor.
      6. Pre-sort items using manual and electronic methods
      7. Sort, identify, process, prepare, organize, and test items to be posted on on-line
      8. Utilize tools to aid in item descriptions such as gram/weight scales, measuring tape
      9. Clean and repair scratched media as needed
      10. Organize inventory
      11. Consistently meet or exceed listing goals
      12. Process returns and refunds
      13. Assist with relisting and recycling of items
      14. Perform housekeeping to present a neat and professional image
      15. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
      16. Ensure all totes and items received are sorted/identified accurately on a consistent basis, including store allocation/location, date received/processed, weights and measurements
      17. Communicate with Supervisor / Manager to correct any problems that prevent items from being posted online or shipped to customers
      18. To accommodate business needs and objectives, other duties may be assigned by Supervisor.

      REQUIREMENTS

      1. High School Diploma or G.E.D., Some college or trade certificate in artistic or technical field helpful
      2. Minimum 1-year experience in e-Commerce Associate position.
      3. Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
      4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      5. Demonstrate necessary computer skills.
      6. Successfully handle fast paced environment remaining calm and flexible.
      7. Analyze, evaluate situations, and develop alternatives for conflict resolution.
      8. Proficient with spelling/grammar including use of abbreviations, definitions and item conditions
      9. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
      10. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
      11. For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.
