      Responsibilities include:

      • Propose Technical Design that works at scale using private cloud

      • Develop and build high-performing, reliable solutions for high-throughput data systems using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks

      • Work with other product teams across eBay

      • Balance strong ownership and teamwork

      • Research, innovate, deliver and grow

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science or related field

      • 7+ years of software development experience

      • Solid understanding of the software development fundamentals

      • Committed to working in an agile environment

      • Be a strong proponent of, and adhere to high quality standards

      • Proficiency in Java, Typescript and Python being a big plus

      • Strong foundation in Data Products and Tools (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, among others)

      • Proficiency in different data storages – RDBMS and NoSQL (Elastic Search, Click House, Redis)

      • Proficiency in streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Storm).
