What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
- Provide support to the system administration and engineering team
- Troubleshoot systems and operating systems using advanced networking and system administration skills
- Train system users and other support personnel
- Conduct research and development on new system manufacturers and evaluate existing systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience in installation, troubleshooting, and/or testing of electronic security systems, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience
- Reliable attendance at customer sites during required work hours
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS
- Strong oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electronic security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and closed circuit television systems
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and statements of work (SOW)
- Experience in conducting research and development of entire systems and analyzing interoperability scenarios
