What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical resources and training opportunities to educators to enhance their ability to teach Snowflake
- Engage in presentations, workshops, hackathons, and other interactive technical events for academia
- Establish connections with educators and academic leaders to drive the integration of Snowflake into curricula
- Evaluate and convert technical content into quality learning materials for academic use
- Build learning modules, including lecture slides and labs, for academic learners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- 5+ years of experience in programming languages Python and SQL, and in databases such as SQL databases and analytic databases
- 3+ years of experience teaching in the fields of data analytics, data science, or data engineering
- Proficient in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with source control tools Git and GitHub and project management tools like Jira
- A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly to keep up with Snowflake's evolving platform
