      re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a Technical Area Manager for its Reverse Logistics operation based in Greencastle, PA. Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives.

      This is a manager role that will lead a team performing decommissioning services of Data Center Hardware in a high-volume industrial environment. The team receives parts, performs sanitization procedures, maintains inventory, and performs visual inspections as needed following all data security and environmental compliance procedures.

      The role requires a strong technical aptitude with data center hardware to develop new and iterate on existing processes and workflows, all while meeting and exceeding re:Cycle Reverse Logistics safety and security requirements and creating an engaging work environment for the team.



      Key job responsibilities
      Execute workflow mechanisms to remove roadblocks for the team to meet security, environmental, and all operational goals.

      Engage in cross-functional collaboration across multiple operations and business teams, including Operations, Commercial, Program Management, and Finance.

      Perform deep dive analyses of operational workflow plans to allocate labor to various components of the process to meet service level agreements.

      Develop written documents and presentations on key initiatives used to influence necessary business actions benefiting the site.

      - Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of experience in a related role/field
      - 2+ years of experience as a People Manager leading variable cost center teams
      - 2+ years of experience using Web-based applications such as a Warehouse Management System, Inventory Management System or similar- Data Center ITAD experience and knowledge of various type of hardware and media storage devices
      - Strong demonstration of verbal and written communication skills
      - Proficiency of Six Sigma/Lean processes and a proven track record in process improvement
      - Reverse Logistics operations background
      - Experience leading technical teams
