Leading a team of technical experts & engineers to design & deliver solutions which will make the greatest difference and add most value.
Lead a product delivery team to manage Cost, Time & Quality objectives.
The Technical Delivery Manager community within Operations & Technology Resilience platform.
Lead stand ups and reviews, helping the team continually improve their ways of working.
Lead production of Agile reporting and progressing product delivery artefacts through to approval.
Collaborating with numerous Divisions and Teams to ensure the results meet their needs and embed smoothly into their ‘Business As Usual’ world.
Experienced Management with strong delivery skills and able to challenge technical experts to interpret the subject matter for their own understanding (and can relay this to senior management).
Ability to work with the team to prioritise the workload and backlog, collaborating closely with senior colleagues and wider platform teams.
Can run an annual budget up to £5M.
Can handle issues, risks & dependencies.
A broad understanding of the new Operational Resilience Regulations that challenges Banks / Firms to recover Important Business Services (including infrastructures & applications) within Impact Tolerance timescales.
Experience of delivery of new infrastructure & applications.
Can deal with uncertainty and change. Our subject matter is continually evolving meaning we continually need to commit to upskilling ourselves and evolve our thinking.
It would be great if you understood LBG’s technical landscape and the underlying infrastructure that our Critical Business Infrastructures, Business Applications and Critical Business Processes reside upon.
Some understanding of critical business processes / important business services.
Passionate about technology and understands terminology such as data centres, servers, network, back-ups, Cloud Service platforms.
Any experience working in fast path agile teams would be beneficial.

This role provides an opportunity to lead a team of permanent, contractor & partner resource, within the Back Up & Recovery programme, to deliver Enterprise Strategic Technical Products and Processes that will enable the Bank to recover key Infrastructures & Applications and comply with new FCA/PRA Operational Resilience Regulations.
The work we undertake spans all infrastructures & platforms (including Cloud) meaning the subject matter is varied and far reaching, providing access to a vast array of experts and key collaborators at all levels.
There is a great supportive & positive spirit within the programme, with lots of opportunity to influence the scope & direction of the work we do as well as influence stakeholders at all levels. Our primary locations are Leeds & Halifax, but we have colleagues based across the UK.Job Description

What you'll be doing...This vacancy brings a superb opportunity to build your knowledge on the Bank’s Back Up & Restore technologies & processes, work with dynamic Change Leaders / Authorities, and help the Programme to meet the FCA & PRA regulations.
Working in a close-knit team and collaborating with other teams you'll enjoy the success of improving the platform ensuring that the right solutions are found. You'll collaborate using Agile frameworks methodologies, to optimise team development process and give rapid feedback working iteratively.
