- Plans, directs and coordinates activities to manage and implement complex projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.
- Responsible for ensuring the appropriate development methodologies are selected and adhered to throughout the supply chain (Omni channel delivery across ROLB, BMB, GOLF, Barclays One, MCA2 and methodologies including Agile, SDLC etc.) across technical and non-technical components, facing off with and influencing colleagues across functions and teams to deliver agreed business outcomes.
- Dual Responsible for managing scrums and leading technical delivery E2E for digital channels.
- Manage client expectations and demands proactively while maintaining strong client relationships, to ensure effective application development and delivery within the required project timescales and budget.
- To deliver an application, or upgrade to an application, that will each deliver benefits of strategic importance to BUK
- Defining functional requirements, which reflect the business requirements and developing approaches to enable them to be delivered via process changes / technology solutions
- Developing approaches and tools to test new solutions and business processes prior to use
- Responsible for the integration of new and modified applications onto the wider Barclays methodologies (PMP, scrum etc.)
- Coaches teams and has extensive experience on how to deliver value added services through defined processes and practices. Including problem solving techniques and issues ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards
- Managing the successful delivery of applications into the production environment, including the design of, and transition to, the application support strategy.
- Satisfactory resolution of application-related service incidents during change delivery and warranty periods.
- Graduate with technical background
- Previous experience in environments include Java, Git, Tomcat, JUnit, SOAPUI, REST APIs, Agile Scrum/Kanban, Jenkins, Cucumber JVM, Selenium, ionic, mobile wearables, WebDriver, Restful Services
- Familiar with Jira/Confluence
- Exposure on working in a large-scale programme. Business Knowledge for Personal banking, Wealth and private banking
- Proven ability to develop and manage senior level stakeholder relationships across the BUK Change, Engineering and within own Technology Group
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the Transaction Cycles and operating models
- Rich technology experience and good exposure to latest advancements in Technology - bringing innovative solutions to the table
- Experience in working with multi-location teams
- Participate in tasks at org level like training/social activities to promote Barclay’s culture
- Actively involved in agile methodology and all phases of SDLC where applicable and ensuring deliveries across different stages of lifecycle.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving root cause of problems, resolves major problems and fluently applies escalation and notification procedures for incidents
- Actively supported software quality assurance reviews and monitoring activities
- Experienced with planning, estimating, staffing, organizing, and managing multiple application development initiatives; had monitored and dealt with critical paths and risks areas

The end-to-end technical delivery management may include the following key areas/activities; Delivery across channels like Retail online baking, Barclays mobile banking, GOLF, Barclays One, MCA2. Omni channel delivery experience. Understanding of the digital landscape, with the ability to effectively manage Clients’ changing demands in this area. Knowledge of delivering requirements for Wealth and Private bank who are high net worth customer base specifically within the BUK.
Stakeholder / priority management, project / program governance, issue and risk management, project initiation, planning and tracking, development of detailed project plans, roadmap development, requirements coordination /development, dependency management, UAT test coordination, process and control map development, tracking and active management of project financials, assist in preparation of stakeholder required documentation.
