Job Description

- Understand LSI product technologies to address specific customer needs.
- Being a good listener to incorporate internal and external feedback into product roadmaps.
- Create photometric calculations for Interior and Exterior Lighting applications utilizing LSI products to meet the customer and code requirements.
- Ability to independently formulate, coordinate, and implement design strategies based upon current lighting and those currently being considered for adoption.
- Create and present designs to customers and other LSI teams.
- Assist with maintaining the Applications Reference Libraries.
- Ability to carefully document customer suggestions to continuously improve LSI products and services.
- Willingness to learn and apply lighting design knowledge to customers’ design requirements.

- Associate's degree from two-year College or Technical School
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
- REVIT experience is a plus.
- AGI32 experience is a plus.
- Photometric Toolbox experience a plus.
- Adobe Suite (In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, & Acrobat) is a plus.

We are looking for Technical Design Specialist to support our team at our corporate location in Cincinnati, Ohio.
As the Technical Design Specialist within the TDS team your primary responsibilities will include developing lighting layout designs using our interior and exterior product families to meet the customers’ requirements. We seek a highly motivated and creative individual with excellent communication and time management skills. A professional demeanor is a must, with the ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment.
