What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, edit, and proofread technical documents for accuracy, clarity, and readability
- Collaborate with authors and technical experts to produce high-quality deliverables
- Ensure consistency in data, terminology, and adherence to style guides
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Editor, Technical Writer, or similar role
- Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on writing, editing, and proofreading
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and understandable text
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity with Bluebeam and/or Adobe
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience as a technical editor or in a similar role
- Prior experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
- Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style or Associated Press Stylebook
- Experience working with templates
