What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, design, code, test, and implement technical solutions while providing general production monitoring and support
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements
- Monitor production schedules and provide regular progress updates to leadership
- Document technical processes and participate in technical reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
- Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies and industry best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3 years of experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions
- 3 years of technical problem-solving, solution implementation, and team/project collaboration experience
- 3 years of familiarity with basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, and development languages/scripting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience as determined by the employer
- U.S. citizenship due to contractual/access requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3 years of experience managing Starburst Enterprise Platform (SEP) with knowledge of its distributed architecture
- 5 years of experience using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) techniques and tools such as Gitlab, Terraform, and Ansible
- Strong SQL skills, particularly with Trino's dialect and optimization techniques
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and its associated services
- 5 years of experience with various SEP data source connectors and their configuration within Starburst
