      The Opportunity:
      CACI’s Cyber Line of Business is seeking a Technical Executive Director, who is a high-impact leader to serve as its senior technical advisor. This executive-level role is responsible for providing technical direction across a diverse and evolving portfolio while driving strategic growth, technical execution, and innovation. This role requires a deep understanding of the cyber domain, telecommunications and emerging technologies, and the ability to solution against cyber and national security requirements.

      Responsibilities:

      The successful candidate will shape and execute the Line of Business’ technical strategy while partnering closely with the senior leadership team. They will partner with business development and capture teams to create winning, differentiated solutions and serve as a thought leader in applying advanced research and emerging technologies to mission-critical challenges. This candidate will lead or contribute to technical content development for proposals (both competitive and sole source) and white papers and will represent the Cyber Line of Business in high-visibility engagements with customers. Their ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives will be essential in both internal and external environments.

      The successful candidate will identify and address capability gaps by shaping internal investment strategies – including IRAD and CAPEX – while developing technology roadmaps that align with long-term mission priorities. They will assess technical aspects of strategic growth opportunities, including partnerships, and cultivate key relationships with vendors and industry partners.

      In addition, this leader will help build and sustain the technical talent within the Line of Business by mentoring the engineering workforce.

      LOCATION: Position is based in Florham Park, New Jersey; Annapolis Junction, MD; OR Reston, Virginia; with potential for limited travel.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Stay current on the latest technology trends and their application to cyberspace and national security and defense missions

      • Develop technology solutions, including integrating vendor niche product offerings, to improve program performance and new business growth.

      • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned to emerging mission needs, market trends, and long-term growth objectives.

      • Provide strategic technical direction ensuring alignment with mission priorities, business objectives, and customer need.

      • Guide innovation by evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies, advanced research, and applied solutions into program execution and technical baselines.

      • Lead or contribute to the development of technical solutions and content for major proposals, white papers, and other new business pursuits.

      • Deliver clear, executive-level briefings that translate complex technical information into accessible, impactful narratives.

      • Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners and technology vendors to enhance solution development.

      • Mentor and develop technical staff, helping to build a strong and adaptive workforce.

      Qualifications:

      Required:

      • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field.

      • Minimum of 10 years' related technical in the cyber domain.

      • TS/SCI Clearance and willingness to attain a full scope poly; (existing FSP preferred)

      • Demonstrated technical experience; {minimum of seven (7) years} in several of the following areas: Telecommunications Equipment Vendor products; Telecommunications Service Provider deployed network architectures; Commercial Wireless – 4G, 5G, xG equipment and software; Internet Service Provider deployed network architectures; Telecommunications VNFs; Cloud Computing Service Models for Compute and Storage; Vulnerability Research tools, techniques and processes; Network Security Architecture; Cloud Security for Telecommunications; Modeling and Simulation Technology; OT/ICS

      Desired:

      • Proven technical expertise in cyber tool development, advanced R&D, and mission-critical systems within defense and intelligence community.

      • Proven track record of developing innovative technical solutions to complex customer problems.

      • Strong executive presence and communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

      • Demonstrated ability to shape and influence strategic partnerships and develop long-term growth paths.

      • Experience building technology roadmaps and assessing internal capability gaps.

      • Familiarity with the full business lifecycle from capture and proposal through execution and delivery across multiple contract types (FFP, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, T&M).

      • Experience with IC and DoD customers from operational to senior leader levels.

      Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

      The proposed salary range for this position is:

      $152,900-$336,400
