  Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America seeks a Technical Lead at our office in Charlotte, NC to provide technical analysis in end-to-end design, development, and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products, and services. Meet development schedules and deliver high-quality solutions that meet technical specifications and design requirements. Develop specifications and software design phases of the software development life cycle. Handle the design and implementation of new software development and enhancement efforts and software testing. Coordinate unit testing of system development and facilitate code reviews. Provide input into process improvements, cost reduction efforts, tool development to improve the software development and support process in a way that reduces complexity, improves service, and reduce cost. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and 5 years of experience as Software Developer, Java/J2EE Developer, Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Alternatively, the company will accept a Master's degree in an acceptable field of study and 2 years of experience in an accepted occupation.   Base Pay Range: $111,300/yr. - $165,000/yr.

  Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
