      Our Opportunity:

      Chewy is looking for an experienced Technical Operations Manager - Workfront to join our Marketing and Creative Services organization and work side-by-side with passionate pet lovers in our in-house studio located in Plantation, FL and/or Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you’ll lead the configuration, implementation, and support of Workfront, our Marketing work management system for everything from Marketing planning to Creative and Studio project management. Working closely with Team Members across the organization, you’ll translate business and operational requirements to lead the development and optimization of streamlined workflows within Workfront and its integrations.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Perform iterative development, maintenance, and improvements for Workfront’s Core and Planning platforms to support Marketing Operations and Creative Services’ end-to-end workflows
      • Vet requirements and work with leadership to ensure requests align with business priorities
      • Consult with cross-functional partners to identify and develop process improvement opportunities, recommend enhancements, and build integrations that support business and operational objectives
      • Serve as a key point of contact for relevant vendor and consultant relationships for Workfront and its integrations
      • Architect, design, and configure workflows to streamline and simplify production management
      • Build and update custom fields, forms, user roles, and permissions to support the various teams using Workfront
      • Provision, handle, and audit Workfront User accounts and profiles for full-time, contractor, and agency users
      • Support Studio Analytics initiatives within Workfront, via the report framework and integrations to data platforms
      • Facilitate discovery sessions, testing, and implementation for Workfront-related processes, integrations, and improvements
      • Troubleshoot technical Workfront issues and bugs through coordination with Workfront forums, technical support, IT Engineering, and/or consultants
      • Create, maintain, and publish project/technical process documentation and training materials for both application users and departmental leadership
      • Create configuration documentation for all internal changes and updates to the Workfront platform and its integrations
      • Proactively train new users and lead communications about updates, enhancements, and user support needs
      • Consistently and openly communicate with peers and team leadership about contextual status updates, priorities, pivots, pending needs, and progress blockers

      What You’ll Need:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Creative, or related field
      • 5+ years of direct experience as a Workfront System Admin within an agency, in-house creative services team, or corporate Marketing Communications function. E-Commerce / retail production management experience is a plus!
      • General understanding of Marketing cycles including the cross-functional teams and processes required to support them.
      • Experienced in handling Workfront implementation, administration, and configuration across a matrixed organization.
      • Capable of handling integrations between Workfront and other compatible platforms like MAM/DAM, etc. Experience working with Fusion is a must!
      • Broad knowledge of different workflow methods, including waterfall, Agile, and hybrid, including how they relate to Workfront implementation.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and other adjacent project management software such as Creative Force, Airtable, Smartsheet, and/or Lucid Chart
      • Proven ability to self-manage multiple projects as part of a team serving partners across Chewy’s hubs and headquarters
      • Ability to thrive in an ever-developing, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and changes in scope
      • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, time management, and negotiation skills
      • Ability to tactfully influence cross-functional teams to drive projects and tasks to completion
      • Capacity to project a calm, confident, and professional demeanor, even while working under pressure
      • An understanding of quality, as a creative problem solver who can recognize the importance of high production values for brand building
      • Excellent oral and written communication with the ability to flex between creative and technical vernacular with ease
      • Active listening, problem-solving, strong analytical, and critical thinking skills
      • A positive, can-do attitude with teammates, internal clients, and corporate partners
      • Position may require less than 10% travel to multiple studio and office sites as necessary

      The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

      Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

      Base Salary Range
      $81,000$124,500 USD
