This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.
U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available .
- Define project plans for multiple simultaneous projects or for fewer complex projects including scope, budget and schedule and executes tasks defined in the project plan to achieve project goals
- Validate and help define project scope and drive alignment with Customers, utilizing this to develop objectives and goals
- Establish cross-functional alliances within and outside of the Technical Operations Department to drive results
- Use standard program and project management methodologies and practices
- Partner with resource managers, Business Partners, and vendors to assemble a project Team and provide ongoing motivation to drive projects to completion
- Lead and facilitate project meetings and presentations to Leadership
- Proactively monitor and communicate risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the appropriate level of priority, visibility, and escalation
- Encourage consensus among multiple parties with conflicting and diverse viewpoints
- Build trust and influences without authority cross-functionally and across diverse teams
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
- Advanced level knowledge of project processes, problem management tools and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal across varied audiences and levels of Leadership
- Skilled in identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate in a brief manner, the status and updates on assignments to Sr. Leaders in small and large forums
- Skilled in leading teams to deliver on timelines and scope
- Skilled at requirements gathering across cross functional work groups, creating meeting minutes, action item lists, and driving assigned actions to close
- Skilled in MS Project, think-cell, Visio, MS Office Suite including SharePoint
- Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with all levels of the organization
- Ability to quickly understand assignments and complete them with minimal leadership oversight
- Ability to lead, manage, and direct resources with no formal or written authority
- Ability to drive teams to execute to project plan
- Should possess proven experience in successfully managing schedules and solid understanding of project financial tracking
- Ability to facilitate discussion and lead meetings with many stakeholders, while also navigating and presenting through visual presentations on screens and telecommunications, while also effectively documenting any notes and actions
- Preferred: Aviation and/or Tech Ops experience at an airline or in the industry
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Advanced level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
- Coordinating, managing and aligning cross-department stakeholders
- Developing and working with project schedules or integrated project schedules
- Identifying and managing issues and risks
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA (Secured Identification Display Area) badge and meet all local airport requirements
- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
- Potential for 10-30% travel depending on need for local field support
Competitive market salary from $107,650 per year to $119,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
