      Job Description

      The Ad Sales Technical Product Management Team enables NBCUniversal’s Ad Sales portfolio to drive revenue and growth. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that collaborates through the life cycle of a product including conceptualization, development, and commercialization.
      The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will be responsible for the technical product management of multiple products supporting Planning, Pricing, Inventory Management, and Traffic. The role requires an understanding of the Ad Sales ecosystem. It is the TPM’s job to manage a product development roadmap for their suite of products. The TPM may be asked to participate in special projects that touch other functional areas.
      The Ad Sales Technical Product Management organization adheres to the following Product Management pillars:

      Business Strategy and Objectives Alignment: We understand and can articulate business objectives, priorities and demands. We understand the technology landscape and ensure products are built to support business goals as well as adhere to best practices and fit into the overall strategic goals of NBCUniversal.
      Solution Delivery: We are effective at delivering solutions. We ensure clarity in requirements, relevant and efficient technology processes and procedures, and overall fluid software development.
      Project Management: We plan, manage execution, and communicate milestones and challenges. We identify risks and effectively work to mitigate them.

      Day-to-Day Activities

      • Stay up-to-date and aligned with Business Initiatives’ strategic goals and objectives
      • Set overall direction for their products in partnership with Business Initiative owners based on company strategy, business goals and user needs
      • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the company to drive positive business outcomes
      • Own and drive forward holistic product development roadmaps
      • Ensure high level requirements are documented and well understood by Technology
      • Partner with Product, Engineering and Design teams to ensure feature requirements are clear and appropriately captured as user stories in a product backlog
      • Define and analyze key performance metrics to identify compelling opportunities, improve user experiences and produce better results
      • Responsible for overall product quality, ensuring technical solutions are well supported and adhere to company standards
      • Track and report product milestones and key deliverables
      • Manage and maintain Product 360 on a suite of products
      • Ongoing evaluation and documentation of technical product management processes and

      Qualifications

      Basic Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • 3+ years of experience in Product Management
      • Experience in interfacing with end users to provide hands on support of critical sales applications
      • Strong knowledge of advertising sales, the media marketplace and technology trends
      • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills

      • Ability to lead and work autonomously

      • MBA is a plus

      Additional Requirements:
      This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
      This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
