- As a Technical Product Manager in the Cyber Security Defense Center in India, this position will understand key business objectives and strategy of the Product(s)/Service(s), as well as work with Group Product Manager and Team Lead to ensure that they are engaged and supportive of direction. This position will focus on CSDC Tools & Logging , Phishing response and CSDC Event, Monitoring and Response Projects, Incident Management along with Change & Infrastructure Management. In addition, you will:
- Makes sound decisions on product functionality and ensure that functionality is aligned with Group Product Manager's strategic vision for the products within product family scope
- Define product vision related to technical information publishing and delivery as a platform which is downstream agnostic
- Create and communicate product vision, OKRs (objectives and key results), and product roadmap
- Monitor and communicate the key success metrics of the product
- Develop and maintain the product backlog. Identify the highest value opportunities to inform product priorities
- Ensure features definition, acceptance criteria, and stories clearly communicate customer/stakeholder needs to the team; work with the team to clarify as necessary
- Understand and support inter-team dependencies and impediments and escalate issues when necessary
- Ensure an exceptional product experience collecting inputs from customers, market research while collaborating with UX, architecture, and engineering resources
- Participate in and/or lead team events (e.g., daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint demos).
- 3+ years of Product Owner experience working in Agile Teams.
- 6+ years of experience working in Information Technology.
- Knowledge of defensive side of cybersecurity and logging mechanisms, architecture and basics of data engineering
- Ability to work in operations and support
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Exposure to Digital Product Management and AGILE processes
- Experience leading change across teams; ability to communicate a compelling value story to gain alignment
- Highly collaborative with the ability to develop productive working relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and product team members
- Understanding of product discovery techniques to uncover user problems/needs and ability to identify value
- Ability to understand modern technology architecture, cloud technologies and communicate the interface between the product and other interdependent products
- Ability to think strategically to create a product vision, objectives, and roadmap that drives consistent information across downstream applications.
- Ability to conduct product demos to all end-use customers
- Ability to measure and communicate key results and metrics for product
- Growth mindset - willingness to deal with and thrive in uncertainty, encouraging and enabling culture of experimentation for acceleratd learning
- Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:
- Product Owner Certification
- Knowledge of Defensive (Blue Team) Cybersecurity operations
- Ideally, you will have a bachelor’s degree in a Cyber Security or Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience
