      Job Title: Technical Project Manager (TPM) - Audio/Video Device Replacement Projects

      Remote role

      Long Term role

      key Responsibilities:

        • Lead all project phases related to A/V device replacement, including site surveys, solution design reviews, commissioning, handover, and closeout.
        • Coordinate and chair site-level meetings and drive progress by managing dependencies between stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
        • Track and manage multiple parallel site deployments, ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines.
        • Audit Analysis & Scope Definition:
        • Review site audits to determine existing A/V infrastructure and define the replacement scope based on functional needs and standard designs.
        • Document A/V equipment currently installed (e.g., displays, projectors, conferencing systems, microphones) and define necessary decommissioning and replacement activities.

      Technology Design & Communication:
      • Act as the liaison between engineering, design, and customer teams to finalize the appropriate A/V replacement solutions for each room type and use case (e.g., huddle spaces, conference rooms, executive boardrooms).
      • Ensure each replacement aligns with updated standards and future-ready collaboration technologies (e.g., Cisco Webex, Zoom, Teams Rooms, etc.).
      • Procurement Planning & Coordination:
        • Develop and maintain a procurement strategy for all A/V hardware, software, and associated services per site and region.
        • Place hardware orders and coordinate with vendors and internal procurement teams to track delivery and availability of A/V devices.
        • Ensure compatibility of Cisco or 3rd-party components (e.g., cameras, touch panels, audio processors) with existing room control systems.
      • Scheduling & Budgeting:
        • Work with the Global Program Manager and regional PMs to build detailed project schedules and site-specific budgets.
        • Incorporate lead times, logistics constraints, and product availability into planning and ensure alignment with overall program milestones.
      • On-Site Technical Oversight:
        • Coordinate on-site technical teams to execute device replacements, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and testing.
        • Manage technical escalations and ensure resolution of site-specific challenges (e.g., network readiness, power compatibility, integration with existing systems).
      • Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
        • Capture lessons learned and participated in continuous improvement cycles after deployments.
        • Maintain accurate project documentation, asset tracking, and reporting dashboards for senior stakeholders.

      Skills & Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, AV Systems, or related field.
      • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise A/V projects, including deployment of conferencing and collaboration systems.
      • Strong knowledge of A/V technologies (Cisco Webex Room Kits, Crestron, Poly, Logitech, Extron, etc.) and control systems.
      • Proven track record in managing multi-site rollouts of hardware and infrastructure replacements.
      • Familiarity with structured cabling, room acoustics, and network readiness for A/V systems.
      • Strong project management skills with tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
      • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and vendor coordination capabilities.
