      As a Technical Recruiter on the Technology Development/Strategy & Pathfinding Recruiting Team, you will work to actively acquire talent in a variety of technical engineering roles and own end-to-end recruiting activities for memory design, research & development, and groundbreaking semiconductor process and equipment development. You will show a strong ability to collaborate, build positive relationships, and advise hiring managers and site leadership teams on recruiting strategy, tactics, process, and process excellence. You will have the opportunity to support the engineering groups that make the next generations of memory and storage technology possible.

      Technical Recruiter responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      • Recruit & deliver highly qualified external candidates against open positions, drawing upon consulting skills, and staffing expertise to recommend the best course of actions to recruit, assess, select, and hire. This will include experienced as well as new college graduate recruiting.

      • Partner with hiring teams and upper management to meet business hiring requirements.

      • Demonstrate sourcing techniques applying a wide variety of tools, technology, and networks.

      • Provide excellent communication with external candidates to provide outstanding experience.

      • Plan, prepare, and represent Micron at Industry, University, and Technical Conference recruiting events to attract top talent and build the Micron employment brand.

      As a Recruiting Program Lead, you will collaborate with University Engagement Program 2.0 (UEP) owners and stakeholders to drive engagement between Micron Technical Leaders and top PhD students at various stages of their academic career. The UEP is a program to support Micron’s growth and establish thought leadership in memory systems and research and bring top PhD talent into Micron.

      Recruiting Program Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      • Help develop a sub-culture that encourages engagement with external researchers to further Micron’s goals.

      • In collaboration with Program owners, Incentivize Micron technical leaders to track, influence and engage external research students.

      • Manage resume database including download from partner organizations, filter, tag, and upload into 8fold recruitment tool.

      • Create prospecting pipelines and hold interactive calibration sessions with Technical Leaders to identify required and preferred skills for different technical roles at Micron.

      • Partner with other Technical Recruiters to drive engagement with top PhD Students for internships and full-time roles.

      • Collect feedback on UEP functionality and work with tool owners to make needed application and program improvements.

      • Own reporting out to Stakeholders in Technology Development and Talent Acquisition on progress towards engagement and hiring program goals.

      Successful candidates for this position will:

      • Be driven, upbeat, and a motivated professional with 7+ years recruiting experience.

      • Have experience sourcing and recruiting highly skilled engineers, scientists, and technical experts in semiconductor or related industries.

      • Can multi-task, problem-solve, and balance work between Recruitment and Program Lead roles.

      • Have excellent customer focus and ability to engage and influence partners and stakeholders.

      • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate an elevated level of emotional intelligence, and have effective cross-team collaboration skills.

      • Be “aggressively curious” and have the desire to research and stay current on relevant technical and memory/semiconductor business and technology developments.

      • Proficient in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems and have the technical acumen required to manage University Engagement Program 2.0 (specifically Excel including use of macros and database use and queries).

      • Technical background a plus.

      Education:

      Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business, Technical/Engineering or related field of study

      A combination of experience and education (without a degree) will also be considered.

      The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

      $109,000.00 - $184,000.00

      Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
