What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Achieve sales and profit goals within the assigned Los Angeles region
- Promote and sell scientific instruments and services to meet sales targets
- Maintain and expand the customer base by identifying new customer opportunities
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the territory
- Manage customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences
- 3+ years of experience in capital equipment sales or technical equipment scientific sales
- 3+ years of experience in sales/business development within the Life Sciences sector
- 2+ years of experience in negotiating pricing and terms, with formal sales training preferred
- Proficiency in CRM management and data input, with experience in Salesforce or similar tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Funnel Management, Forecasting & prospecting tools such as Tableau, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZOOM info
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional sales teams
- Technical proficiency and capability to grasp complex scientific concepts and products
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
