      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and manage an annual Territory Plan and quarterly business plans to meet or exceed financial goals
      - Understand customer goals, priorities, and challenges to provide solutions best positioned to address customer needs
      - Focus on high-growth areas and markets, driving projects into new emerging markets
      - Consistently and accurately manage the sales process, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking
      - Consult with customers on product evaluations, optimization, and troubleshooting

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BS in Biology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry or related scientific field (Masters/PhD preferred)
      - 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience, including providing technical and scientific presentations
      - Accomplished sales skills and ability to speak to competitive technologies and downstream applications
      - Ability to demonstrate a customer-centric mindset and understanding of markets, trends, and competitors
      - Minimum of 50% travel expected

      - 0-2 years of experience in a scientific consulting role or related field
